Rentberry is an online resource that minimizes bureaucratic processes of long-term housing rent in the US through its automation. Every site user can discuss contract terms and renting cost, sign all the necessary documents and be constantly in touch with the place owner online.
The main startup feature is a possibility of offering a price for an apartment on the site. Due to this, the whole process becomes an open auction. This is great for large US cities, because of huge competition for housing. At the moment, you can rent an apartment in 3600 US cities.
Project founders are Ukrainian developers Alexey Lyubinsky, Lilia Ostapchuk and Arsen Kostenko. In total, the team consists of 23 people.
Recently, Rentberry representatives provided information about successful closing of the second financing round. The project was able to attract another $2.8 million. Total amount of attracted investments is $4 million. Among the investors are Zing Capital, Nelson Brothers Property Management, Hopewell Development, 808 Ventures, Beachwood Ventures and Jade Value.
All financial resources will go for the development of a risk assessment system for tenants and landlords, as well as for a new apartment search algorithm based on blockchain technologies and AI.
